Paul Deason

PAUL DEASON (Executive Producer) Paul Deason has served as the Executive Producer/Unit Production Manager (UPM) on We Bought a Zoo (2011), Alien vs. Predator: Requiem(2007), Rebound (2005), Taxi (2004) and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). He was co-producer/UPM on the films Old School (2003), Evolution (2001), Thirteen Days (2000), End of Days (1999) and Small Soldiers (1998); and was an Associate Producer on Amistad(1997), Mars Attacks! (1996), Congo (1995) and Casper (1995). His credits as a Production Manager also include the hit films The Flintstones (1994), Jurassic Park (1993), Father of the Bride (1991) and Three Men and a Little Lady (1990). He has also worked as an assistant director on such films as The Big Picture (1989), An Innocent Man (1989) andWeeds (1987). He attended film school at UCLA, and spent the next 10 years adventuring all over the globe as a documentary technician for “National Geographic” and “Survival Anglia,” among others. Moving into fiction television, he worked as a unit production manager or first assistant director on such series as Beauty and the Beast (1987), The Twilight Zone (1986) and Hill Street Blues (1981) as well as many long form projects such as First and Ten,Foreign Exchange, Ask Max, Me and Mom and others.
